Lab-based Sleep Study

  6. We also conduct MWTs: specialized tests to assess daytime vigilance - for licensing purposes and medication efficacy

Sleep Psychologist

  1. Dr Neralie Cain is an experienced clinical psychologist with a specialist knowledge and experience in psychological treatments for insomnia and other sleep problems, having previously worked with the Canberra Sleep Clinic, the Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health (Repatriation General Hospital), and the Child & Adolescent Sleep Clinic (Flinders University).
  2. Neralie works with clients across the lifespan, from young children through to older adults. Her primary therapeutic focus is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i) but she also brings skills from Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) where appropriate. While improving sleep may result in improvements in co-occuring conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, chronic pain), Neralie is also able to provide additional treatment focused on these co-occurring conditions if needed.

Oral Sleep Appliance

An oral sleep appliance treats the sleep breathing disorders of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea by holding the lower jaw in a forward position in order to increase the flow of air during sleep.

Dr Michael Bradley is CLM's provider of oral sleep appliances, and has been helping patients for more than 20 years with this therapy. If you are suitable for this treatment option, he will be able to provide you with a customised, easy-to-use, high-end, fully-adjustable oral sleep appliance to help you treat your snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea.
